Sergiusz M. Bałdyga OFM, a Polish Franciscan from the Province of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, holds a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences from the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome, Italy. His academic research focuses on interpersonal, intercultural and interlinguistic communication in both pastoral and fraternal contexts.

Inspired by Franciscan art, he has also published beautifully edited prayer guides on the dynamics of the Christian vocation that evoke a call to a deeper spiritual life and holiness.

Fr. Bałdyga has given presentations, conducted retreats and workshops, and organized various congresses and conferences worldwide. He has been extensively involved in particular in the vocational ministry in the Roman Catholic Church, serving among other roles as Vice-Secretary for Formation and Studies of the Order of the Friars Minor.

He is currently an Assistant Professor at the St. Bonaventure Franciscan Seminary in Katowice-Panewniki, Poland.
